Sad to say chocolatemaking was a waste of money.

haha first day of enrichment week was: FUN lol. sth to tt extent la ><

first was e OCS visit.

hmm been there 2/3years ago cos of the opening house..

the exhibition was nice all the guns and stuff llol..

will be sick of them 2years later.. ><

saw a blank bullet shooting excercise =X

they threw smoke bombs too. (wad is a demo when we cant see anything!)

(No smoking!) (Oi! we not mosquito la! spray us for wad)

and nice bang bang bang sound too =D

k next was the activities thingy.

ok cut everything short la.

first we threw dummy grenades at about 30m in distance..

then most of us kept throwing way left or way right..

only some managed to keep it straight ><

then went the food testing arena

match the correct army food to the correct army food..

they had deserts too =x I WAN LONGAN JELLY!! =x

then comouflaging arena..

we suppposed to spot a comouflaged solider in the forest..

and poor marvin being sarboed to hav his face paint. =(

this would nt hav happen if he had not been so hardworking =(

Then next is the obstable course with only 2 benches as obstacles
wear the army load and RUN

and fell down.. too bad.. they were too PD..
was so funny la they all.. lol

=D there was still pizza hut tour in jec outlet in the afternoon.

ok i'll jus say the experience inside was NICE!

the kitchen was lol cool. everything was mainly machines tho..

ok i hav a long story to say. but before tt i must mention i paid $10 for this tour ><

and the cost of one set lunch is $8 (ya we were supposed to hav one set, one coke, one soup, one PAN pizza)

therefore lunch+tour=$10 (supposedly)

ok here goes my long story..

im all alone cos apparently no one from my friend circle in nj has joined the tour.

then i sat down beside a girl which is quite 'good luck bringing' in the bus. i shall explain later

ok so we all sat down. made friends with one canoist. haha he was really chatty..

which was great! made my entire lonely afternoon MUCH more enjoyable. i supposed he only had female classmates on this pizzahut tour.. tts why he's talking to me ><

then ok had coke.. had soup.. then enter the kitchen tour before our main dish.. pizza

shall describe the place as... neat.. machinerised.. professional?

so there was two volunteers who were supposed to create their own REGULAR pizza.

mind you it was not easy lol..

so which means they had a PAN pizza.. a REGULAR pizza on top of a drink and soup.

ok now lemme explain why the girl sitting beside me was so lucky.

they were passing a paper down the row in the bus asking for the orders of flavours of the pizza. She wrote her flavor N DIN PASS TO ME -.-

and naturally when it was time to eat, my pizza didnt come. and i only realised tt i should hav ordered my pizza in the bus then. i was like ZZZZZ with the girl..

and somehow the kitchen forgot the canoeist's order too..

and our pizza was ordered immediately at tt point of time.

it was 4pm and we still din hav lunch

so the two volunteers took pity on us..

and offered us a fifth of a regular pizza from each of them while waiting..

so (stomach= 2/5 of a regular pizza)

THEN OUT OF THE BLUE

someone decides not to eat his pan pizza..

so we had half of a PAN pizza each to eat

so (my stomach = 2/5 regular pizza + 1/2 PAN pizza)

THEN OUT OF THE RED

the waitress came with two piping hot hawaiian PAN pizza...

yumm.. the girl beside us commented: pizza buffet

lol i cant deny =)

So conclusion.. $10 for pizzahut kitchen tour = (kitchen tour + coke + soup + 3/2pan pizza + 2/5 regular pizza

worth the money =)

din hav to eat dinner =DDD

Im happy to announce on official note that commontest has officially ended for Mun Yong Jian. It has decided to take a hiatus and will strike back in october to stike Mun Yong Jian. Enriching Enrichment Week will commence tmr of which I will be watching how soldiers becomes SL etc. I will also go to pizzahut at btp and see how they manufacture pizza. I solemly pledge to be slightly more/alot more muggish in order to arm myself and defend my sovereignity against the all evil commontest striking me in october after my Enriching Enrichment Week. ok today i had the ymca project at westmall along with my mentors. daniel was so pro la.. he called up 40schools to search for volunteers. i cant do tt. anws i tried getting the ndp ppl to help us sell. you know. get volunteers to those many many ppl there and sell our puzzles. ahh then need design posters =( anyone out there good at designing? needed for publicity... argh. got cip hours if u help me design =) anws today at westmall saw tzehow and gang.. waa first thing they commented was how short i was.. -.- sigh.. hard to deny.. the once short and cuddly boon keong became tall and cuddly.. =( being short sux.. hmm maybe must listen to xuemin's quote: 'wads wrong with beng a short guy? jus find a shorter girl la' .. hmm sounds optimistic. wells. didnt go to mrlow's farewell today (my previous conductor in css) dunno why. i will feel left out. i will feel horrible. even tho i will get to see many of my VERY wonderful juniors. argh. too bad i was severely a social-retard in my lower sec. i only hav myself to blame. and now. these few days. i realised how much more i loved njchoir than css choir. well, in terms of ppl inside.. probably css choir was huge. we had huge cliques within the choir. so it was like segregated. then the popular gang will get all the committee positions as always. they cant be blamed for being popular. but ya. normal social behavior is to vote for those whom u like. so i was left dumb cast aside in elections two years ago. cant blame anyone too. i was social-retard. now in njchoir. maybe of its small size, its easier to know each other better. and there arent any cliques! maybe minor tiny cliques of good friends but all the cliques hung out tgt! forming one big clique. the njchoir. tts why i feel more family here. even tho i felt family in css choir. however it felt more of a concept there. yea. besides choir. i really missed my old sch.. my old classmates.. my classmates whom were here in nj for first 3months.. i would think about them once in awhile.. look at the photo and.. ohwells.. can help but think about them. my dear benjamin from 4/1 and 4/3.. really.. i wish i could turn back the time. i really loved my classmates from sec sch.. or rather now i miss them terribly. our usual hangouts. our usual trips home tgt.. now we r like so far apart.. right now im still getting used to my classmates. =( anws to digress abit.. lemme show u our group's proposal for the YMCA project. hope you'll sign up as a volunteer

We also want to provide an avenue to the public to write messages to the children to encourage them and to show them that they care. We plan to do this by letting the public adopt a part of a jigsaw puzzle for $2. They can write their messages at the back of it. At the end, we plan to connect 250 11R puzzles to form a record-breaking puzzle and raise funds for Children's Cancer Foundation.

wooo!! ytd was choir BBQ!
hahaa.. i realised i didnt hav tt much amt of fun since ages!
perhaps since the last class chalet 4/1 had..

i received my first job as qm.. (as xingqun had suggested it to be)
to buy charcoal, lighter, wiremesh(or wadeva you call it) and many many drinks and tibits.
i met up with bp gang and left tgt in 700 at about 4pm la..
then whoa! many ppl started calling me asking me to hurry up!! hahaa super stress liaos.
xingqun called and sms. sixuan called. chengluan smsed.
i was abit late ya? xD bukit panjang ABIT far away from east coast la.. xD
budden when i reached there they said it was timely.. so ohwells lol..

went there.. abit shagged from the 1km walk with charcoal in hand..
then blur blur.. dripped sweet drinks on zijiang's bag..
i apologised, while shaking i dripped more onto his bag XD
coolness man.

then played badminton with xuemin zijiang etc..
lol.. standing in favor of the wind is cool!
and tho the wind is nt favorable to zijiang..
it lowered his standard so it sorta equals to my standard..
so it was super fun to watch the shuttle thingy fly wheeeeeeee
for super long distances.. we smacked liao siao lol..
morever with the wind blowing.. it was cool =)

overall i had many drinks cos i was super thirsty..
din eat much food..
high sugar lvl liaos sigh

then went cycling!! waa programm of the day man..
abt 7bicycles were rented..
then we sang our repetuor of songs as we rode..
good thing got rachel as our pitch pipe =)

cycled for 2hours! waa.. super tired by e end..

almost died..

i've been fighting it hard tho.. seems like im begginning to win..
it seems to enjoy eating biscuits and sweets instead of luring me to sleep in tutorials and lectures..

anw.. my view is..

we did not giv ourselves any chance to sing without scores.. doing it for the first time will bring 'fear or uncertainty' definity.. jus as i had Caroling with the seniors last year.. i had to learn all the stupid 10+ songs by myself and i only could rely on the midis to learn.. i can listen 100million times.. but it would only stay as a tune in my head.. i needa sing with the choir to LEARN and SEE the song as a WHOLE.. and only then i would get a FEEL of the song and that is how u memorise it.. not by drving it into yr brain..it wont work.
by not using the scores for the first time, we r unable to see the songs as a huge picture as most of the time we concentrate on our scores when we hav it.. thus we feel super shaky.. like a small child in a... antartica? so in conclusion, jus giv ourselves more chance.. instead of lamenting on our mistakes in one practise. =) no sense? nvm.. i understand can le =)

hopefully i din disappoint them =X

choir got very frustrating too..
my stupid covered voice made me sound like a grandpa singing the bass solo for kodomo..

and my pitching probs in song w/o words..
made me VERY frustrated and made me say some wrong things in choir =D
i guess everyone forgot wad i said by now =P

hmm.. now abt studies..
quite okok la..
almost failed my physics and err B for my first math test..
then this thurs got chem test again..

oh ya.. i loved my dear 07S11 class..
naughty boys tho.. except me.. =)
orientation was whoosh!
i can bet my life i got the BEST OG EVER and anyone will ever have for orientation..
and its orientation tt made me lose my voice for the first time too.. =)

phew long time since i blogged..
o lvls hav passed..
taiwan trip has passed...
class chalet has passed...

oh man.. busy days

ok now is 3months ago.
last day of sch..
everyone talking photographs atc..
o lvls coming. then ya..
only a tinge of sadness..
then yea.. took a class photo..
and tts the end..
and the beginning of a few weeks of home studying for the o's

ok this period of studying was BAD
i totally hav no push to study..
play abit of maple everyday..
force myself to study..
zZz..
then i realised this was going on for the rest of the cohort too..
dunno why when the o's are approaching

ok now the comments abt the olvl papers.
physics prac was the most easy among the 3papers..
only tt half the people where debating whether the grapgh should be a straight line or curve.. who cares.

then bio prac was crapped up..
i used liquid paper on my answers..
so obvious i was making up my answers.. -.-
although it was common.
its not really allowed..
then the planning experiment part was ok la..

chem prac was downright utter rubbish..
my reading is 20cm3 but other ppl got 21cm3
which means my accuracy is a 0
lost 6marks..
i felt so sianned..
couldnt blame anyone or anything..
really...
sadded during tt time..
chem no A1 i not surprised lo SIAN

went to the stadium to watch ndp!!
i so gan dong by Singapore's patriotism..
95% of the people where wearing red!!
some were wearing white or pink!!

there is something called megaphone.. (something which u need real Sg$ to buy in maple)
dun understand nvm..
some guy used it and insulted singapore..

got about 30people replied to his message!
well..

have had biology mock exam in the morning..
so no assembly for us..
we even sat down when the national amthem was playing..
and stared at our paper during pledge taking..
tts so cool!

went early to the jurong cultural centre for NDP celebration cum Awards Day
since my chairman was receiving an award for 5A1s.. i took over all duties..

then went the singing and blah blah..
choir was good but too soft due to the distance..
hope the china people enjoyed it..

i got into NJC via dsa of choir..
i received the news ytd nite during nite study..
my mum called me to ask if i wanted her to open the letter..
(from the letterbox la)
then she opened.. it read: 'Congratulations blah blah..'

ekping received her resluts of entering njc 3weeks earlier than me..
then i tot i cant go in..
and told everyone around me i din get in..
now they'll think im a great big liar..
sorry.

i scraped through this dsa.
if not for the fact tt im in choir..
i bet they would even want me.

thing is.
i feel lyk a second class dsa student from nj..
-take so long to consider me into nj
-never invite me to the nj preview
-send the letter only 2days before deadline.
tts the truth la..
but sian..

but im very happy for a few things in NJ choir.

the teacher praised me alot (as told by my seniors royston and dewei)
the conductor say my voice rawks (as told by them too) *vomit*
apparently im quite famous at NJ choir and the future seniors(now JC1) know me.. but i dunno them..
i was warmly welcomed by dewei and royston.. (tsk. they r the best seniors anyone could ever get.. F.O.I they are 2years older than me.. and was from CSS choir)
i could finnaly wear the NJ CHOIR COLLARPIN WOOOOTS

im lyk not extremely happy now..
jus relieved this ordeal is over and it ends well..
this dsa caused me to be disappointed cos i tot i never go in..
i was depressed for a few days..
it caused me to be angry..

i wanted to study to numb my anger..

i wanted to study the wadeva out of myself..

i wanted to love css choir.
So no matter wat..
i went for the esplanade performance..
time consuming but i dun care..
now tt i got into dsa for nj through choir..
i AM glad i actually went to support the choir.

I mentioned there was a period when i was depressed..

i would lyk to thank those ppl who were there for me.. showing concern.

ytd was ms kelly lim's farewell..
to me she was more than a choir cher in charge..
but also my english cher..
i rmb last year first eng lesson..
she came in and chose me as english rep..
she wielded weapons lyk the blunt hammer and mosquito swatter..

then valentine's day she gave me one bear..
she sneaked into our classroom in the moring and put it on our table(two eng reps.. the other one is rowan)
so sweet..

so ytd morning..
me and ck met in westmall..
had lunch there..
nice chicken rice.. =))

then we bught ms lim some things..
i bought a pig and he bought a duck..

then we went to choir..
